One thing that is different about this game is that instead of playing as a werewolf, you instead play as a werebear - a much more versatile character, capable of both combat and stealth. There is also a new ability introduced to the game called the Moonkin, which allows the player to turn into a powerful being made out of moon energy, called a Moonkin. This new ability makes it possible for you to skip regular dialogues (and is strongly recommended to do so if you're a purist), which are common in vanilla games where the developers had to cut down on the time required to convey ideas and make quests fit in with the rest of the game's mechanics. Another great feature is the new ability to change the appearance and voice of your character by equipping different skins, which can also be used to acquire new powers or new skills. All of these changes together make Moonlight Tales - Werewolf and Werebear Essentials a truly exciting game to play, and one that brings a lot of fun to the role-playing genre.
